Some interlopers might read through this thread and scoff at the names presented here, or at the fact that we are doing this exercise at all. Fools! Some of the greatest minds of the 20th century spent their time making up names. To wit, this is what the fountain of all human knowledge (Wikipedia) has to say about George Lucas's creative process for Star Wars:

In January 1973, he began working on the space opera full-time. He began the process by inventing odd names for characters and places.

If Star Wars began with the invention of reams of bizarre names, than surely something beautiful could spawn from this very thread.
