[2023-09-10] Ridley X Hack 1 & 2 Maps

The thing I was alluding to in my previous post is finally finished: maps for the Metroid 1 hacks Ridley X Hack and Ridley X Hack 2. You can find them, as always, on the maps page.
 
Now I'm sure you have some questions about these hacks, so I'll do my best to answer them:

So do you play as Ridley X in these hacks?

No.

Wait. So is Ridley X the final boss or something?

No. Ridley X is a romhacker.

Ah. So he's one of those MetConsters.

No. He's actually a "Very enthusiastic Mega Man ROM hacker!" according to RHDN. Of the 39 hacks he's made, 27 are Mega Man, 2 are Metroid, and the rest are mareos.

Well, uh... does he at least have any relation to Karid-X?

No. Don't be silly! Of course not!

I made a minor correction to the map of Ridley X Hack 2 --- there was an erroneous extra pair of High Jump Boots in the empty item room in front of the Varia Suit. The error has been corrected, and the person responsible for it sacked.
