one of my favorite things to do on forums is play forum games.
example of one i have on other forums: "just three words" where every post must only be three words.
is this something that fits in here? if so, where can we do this?
Forum games are cool.
Given that they straddle the line of the consumption/creation dichotomy, this sub-forum is as good as any.
The best forum games of all are play by post ttrpgs. Had a hell of a lot of fun playing legend of the five rings that way back in the day.
I used to play mafia on some old forums back in the day. It's kind of an awkward format with how asynchronous forums are (hard to pick up on social cues, etc), but it's still fun.
I also enjoy doing "exquisite corpse"-type games on forums. Another forum I'm on has been doing collaborative poetry stuff, and it's quite a lot of fun. I'd be down to do something like that here if we could get 4 or 5 members on the train.
Mafia and werewolf type games are an easy fit, for sure. Mostly comes down to having a firm group of Regulars who will actually post, which yeah, I'd be game for.
