After getting cancelled, Samus Aran follows a shady invitation from a chatbot to head to the unknown Planet Viewros (to get more Twitch viewers, of course). There, she gains phenomenal cosmic powers, such as MOVE ORB and DOOR OPEN. Some watery tart calls her, on rather spurious premises, the Chosen One (chosen by whom and for what??).
The game will be released sometime within the next 278 days. Please look forward to it.
Metroid Prime 4: Beyond Beef will not let you play as the cow from Moo Moo Meadows.
I am not sure how the Metroid franchise will recover from this omission.
Gameplay footage of the opening act of Metroid Prime 4: Beyond Thunderdome is online. This opening looks a lot like the nonsense opening to Prime 3, except more action-packed and a whole lot shorter.
man, it's been a while since we've heard any news about Metroid Prime 4: Beyond Good & Evil.
i hope Retro Studios doesn't cancel the game
I jusd caught up with the Mario Kart World Direct, and apparently there wasn't any news about Metroid Prime 4 there.
guise, i think this game is cancelled
Metroid Prime 4: Beyond Belief has been uncanceled. The release date is December 4, 2025:
The addition is a motorcycle is a subtle nod to the fact that Wario (also an R&D1 creation) got a motorcycle at one point.
No word on whether or not Jonathan Frakes will reprise his role as narrator.
After seeing some of the reactions to the latest trailer, the general tone feels like we're having a repeat of the meltdown over Metroid Prime: Four Swords:
The more things change, the more things stay the same...
Four Swords lol. The hate against Federation Force was insane.
Was it fun? With the multiplayer focus it had to be popular to be fun, so no. If there were actually any groups that played it together when it came out, I wouldn't have very many nickels.
Part of me wanted to buy Federation Force just to give it a spin, but they never lowered the price of the physical or digital versions, and the aftermarket prices are now absurd. (This is in contrast to Other M, which went straight to the bargin bin and never left.)
I think it's very funny that that they are absolutely not sweeping Fed Force under the rug in Prime 4. The player mechs make an appearance in the opening, Sylux has his stolen metroids, and there's speculation that some abilities from that game will be returning.

Big head mode confirmed?
That does remind me: there was a lot speculation in years prior (when the only news we had about this game was random bits of talent acquisition) that there was gonna be a multiplayer mode in this, but currently there are no signs of that.
Fun fact: SR-388 (that planet mentioned in Metroid 1's manual) was named after a motorcycle engine, according to an interview with Hiroji Kiyotake. Per Wikitroid:
QuoteAn interview with several of the staff from the original Metroid state that SR388 came from a Yamaha motorcycle engine, the SR400: "...in those days, while it was called 400cc, you didn't have any choice but 388cc, but it was written like that for the time being, and that's how it came out!"
Truly, the more things change, the more they stay the same...
Beyond Bed & Bath have a bike with four 97cc energy tanks or something
